♦ State of Nevada Energy- and Weatherization-Assistance Programs (EAP, WAP) evaluation

Nevada’s Energy- and Weatherization-Assistance Programs (EAP, WAP) serve low-income energy customers in a state that often experiences temperature extremes. While EAP provides assistance with home-energy costs, WAP promotes weatherization measures to improve energy efficiency and conservation. For 2009–2012, Smith & Lehmann Consulting is performing annual evaluations of both EAP and WAP, measuring implementation and outcomes for both of the programs, evaluating business processes, and evaluating coordination between the programs.
