for Water (EJCW) organizational evaluation

For 2008–09, Smith & Lehmann performed an evaluation of organizational function for EJCW, a network of more than 50 grassroots and intermediary organizations working to ensure access to safe, affordable water for low-income people and communities of color. Project tasks included conducting qualitative interviews of staff, board members, advisory group members, work group members, and external stakeholders, as well as evaluating organizational communication, leadership, structure, planning, and relationships. Says EJCW program director Miriam Torres, “Smith & Lehmann Consulting provided EJCW with invaluable insights into our current operations and strategic recommendations for moving forward.”
